The research experience and recommendations reflecting the upcoming trends for future studies to provide the breakthrough in the abrasive treatment technology, abrasive tools development and operation, effectivization of the Russian machine-building complex, are analyzed.   </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Рассматриваются решения объединенной научно-технической конференции «Шлифабразив–2011» и «Применение колебаний в технологических целях (Вибрационные технологии)», на которой состоялся обмен опытом и информацией по широкому кругу вопросов о состоянии и перспективах развития технологии абразивной обработки, производства и эксплуатации абразивных материалов и инструментов.
