MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF ROTATIONAL DYNAMICS OF WIND TURBINE AND SMALL AEROGENERATOR TURN FOR FARMS USING AUTOMATIC ORIENTATION SYSTEM

Abstract

The mathematical simulation of wind turbine rotation and gondola turning is presented. The blade angle-of-attack distribution in azimuth of the wind turbine rotation with 30° angle of lateral wind is shown. The study shows that the nonaxial rotation flow causes critical irregularity of the angles of attack and appropriately force variation on the blades during the rotation.
