Scientific Activities
Prof. Kuznetsov is included in the Federal Register of Experts in the Scientific-and-Engineering Area (expert of the RSF, RFFI, FASO).
Prof. Kuznetsov has developed the physical and theoretical foundations for the design of thermal-protection systems for special-purpose powerplants; mathematical models and methods of predictive modeling of thermal conditions and analysis of the electronics reliability; the theory of heat and mass transfer in heat pipes on the basis of spatial non-linear nonstationary models; a new approach to the analysis of heat energy losses under its transportation and distribution in the heat supply systems for various facilities. He has solved a group of problems on the theory of heat and mass transfer in the thermoprotective and fireproof coatings under deformation; and a group of problems on heat and mass transfer under high-temperature processing of the structural materials to harden their surface layers as a result of the impact of local energy sources.

“Honorary Worker of RF Higher Vocational Education” (2009); laureate of the Tomsk Oblast Competition in Education, Science, Health and Culture (2011); the scholarship holder of the Governor of the Tomsk Oblast Fellowship for Professors (2012); the winner of the RF Government Prize in Science and Technology as a supervisor of the team of postdoctoral researchers (RF Government Resolution of March 1, 2013, no. 281- р) (2013); silver medal of “Merit for TPU”; second-class medal of the Order of Merit for the Motherland (Presidential Decree of October 25, 2014, no. 680).
