Igor P. Miroshnichenko has developed a methodological apparatus for determining the stress-strain state in the layered cylindrical and elliptical structures made of anisotropic composite materials under multiple impulse actions with the given spatiotemporal distribution. He has proposed a number of new experimental methods for studying the properties of structural materials and products under their production and operation, new methods and tools for strength testing and monitoring structural materials and products in operation, and new optical interference methods and measuring tools.

He serves on the board of the Aleppo University Journal
