MODIFICATION EFFECT OF AL2O3 NANOFIBRES AND MALEIC ANHYDRIDE STYRENE COPOLYMER ON ULTRAHIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT POLYETHYLENE: MECHANIC AND TRIBOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Abstract

The test results on the mechanical and tribological properties of the composite materials based on ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene, chemically styrenated by maleic anhydride, depending on the component s and filler content, such as aluminium oxide nanofiber s, are presented.
