Abstract
The surface form of heavy liquid in the rectangular wave tank covered with long waves over the flat bottom is i nvestigated. The waves are generated by the horizontal h armonic oscill a tions of the screen - formed wavemaker. The accurate solution to the boundary problem with regard to the energy dissipation in liquid is obtaine d. The results are applicable for the calcul a tion and laboratory simulation of the surface and acou stic waves.

The technique of the hydrodynamic calculation of the gasdynamic journal bearing working on the conducting gas lubrication is presented. The analytical prediction problem on the friction bearing operation stability is solved. Abstract
The screenless centrifugal fractionation approach is offered for the fractionation of the long-stalked agricultural materials lengthways. The screenless centrifugal fractionation device and its analytical model are described. The basic processes are specified – accelerating particles with the centrifugal disc, spreading in the annular aerodynamic channel, and assorting with the partitioning cylinders. The mathematical simulation of the particle acceleration with the centrifugal disc and the dropped particles motion in the unward airflow processes is carried out. The computer-based experiment is conducted. Paths of particles in the annular aerodynamic channel are obtained. The paths differ so greatly that it is possible to state the separating properties of the centrifugal force field and airflow combination. The recommendations on the arrangement of the partitioning cylinders are given. The simulation results imply the feasibility of assorting the long-stalked materials with the centrifugal tool at the cost of the differences in particle spreading paths in the airflow.

Abstract
The step change of the autonomous voltage inverter carrier frequency is proposed for operating enhancement of the frequency-controlled electric drive of the production machines in the «retarted and creeping» motion speed area. The introduction of the double-triple carrier frequency «submodulation» allows providing the induction motor stator current with nonsinusoidality ratio at least 4,3 % which aids the steady motion of the actuator and accuracy increase of its stop block in the positioning zone.

Abstract
The modification of Romanovsky algorithm for the approximate solution to the homogeneous allocation problem is developed. The modification involves lower resource requirements as against the original algorithm. The changes in the original algorithm which permit to provide a more effective procedure of loading executors with tasks are described. The computational experiments are resulted.

The characteristics of the hydromechanical positioner of the hydrodrive are investigated. Its performance is defined under the flow unsteadiness through the identification of the real modes of the device in the special flow lab. The approximation of the obtained dependences refines the mathematical model of the valve flow operator, and totally — of the positioning hydrodrive dynamic system.
